About the Department

Introduction and characteristics of major

Our department operates a curriculum to cultivate Korean language teachers. Major courses are divided into methods (Korean language education, teaching methods, etc.), language (grammar, Korean history, etc.), use (speaking, writing, Korean emotional method, etc.), life (media, culture, etc.), and art culture (classical literature, modern literature, etc.) to learn various aspects and contents of Korean language activities evenly. Since good teachers must have the ability or skills to conduct Korean language activities easily enough to demonstrate directly to students, they are emphasizing the practice of education, guidance, and evaluation methods that deal with teaching materials directly.
