On May 29, the Department of Sports Science at Jeonbuk National University once again drew strong interest from high school students during the second day of the “JBNU Career and Academic Fair” by offering a variety of major-related experiential programs.
The Department operated practice-oriented programs that allowed students to directly experience the practical applications of sports science. In particular, participating students had the opportunity to ask questions, interact with current students, and receive realistic advice on future career paths.
One participant commented, “Sports Science, which used to feel abstract, became much more concrete through these experiences. I now understand what I can learn at university, and I feel motivated to pursue this major.”
A representative from the Department of Sports Science stated, “Following yesterday, we again saw strong participation today. It was meaningful to provide students with practical opportunities for career exploration, and we will continue to promote the appeal of Sports Science through diverse educational programs.”
