The Department of Sports Science at Jeonbuk National University conducted volunteer sports massage and sports taping sessions for seniors at the Hope Hall of Geumam Senior Welfare Center from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on the 11th. This volunteer activity was organized as part of the business agreement signed last month between the Department of Sports Science at Jeonbuk National University and Geumam Senior Welfare Center.

Students from the Department of Sports Science participated directly in the event, providing customized sports massage and taping to 20 seniors to help relieve muscle tension and alleviate pain.

A representative from the Department of Sports Science stated, “It is meaningful for students to give back to the community using their specialized knowledge and contribute to the health of the elderly,” adding, “We will continue to expand opportunities for mutual growth with the local community through regular volunteer activities.”

The Geumam Senior Welfare Center stated, “The seniors expressed great satisfaction with the professional services,” and added, “We look forward to continued diverse collaborative activities in the future.”
