Students from the Rehabilitation Division of the Department of Sports Science at Jeonbuk National University conducted volunteer sports massage and sports taping sessions for seniors at the Hope Hall of Geumam Senior Welfare Center on September 19. This volunteer activity is a follow-up to the business agreement signed last month between the Department of Sports Science at Jeonbuk National University and Geumam Senior Welfare Center.

Students from the Rehabilitation Division personally participated in the event, providing customized sports massage and taping to the center's seniors to help relieve muscle tension and alleviate pain.

Shin Yi-su, head of the Rehabilitation Division, stated, “It was very meaningful to share our major knowledge and skills with the seniors in our community,” adding, “We hope to continue regular volunteer activities and contribute to improving community health.”

The Geumam Senior Welfare Center stated, “The students provided professional services, and the seniors expressed great satisfaction,” adding, “We look forward to continuing our collaboration on health promotion programs.”
