• 기능성 식품 및 의약 소재의 개발 및 생산을 위한 대사공학, 단백질공학, 합성생물학 기술 구축.
• 바이오센서 기반의 고처리능 스크리닝 기술을 활용한 고부가가치 물질 생산용 미생물 세포공장 개발.
• 신규 생리활성 단백질•펩타이드 개발을 위한 무세포 단백질합성 기술 확립.
• 미생물 플랫폼을 기반으로 한 인간형 번역후변형(Post-translational modifications, PTM) 시스템 개발.
