Curriculum
The Nano Bio Mechanical Systems Engineering major is an interdisciplinary field that integrates nanotechnology, biological and life sciences, and mechanical engineering based on scientific theory. It focuses on the development and application of technologies not only for advanced mechanical systems such as automobiles and robots, but also for innovative diagnosis and treatment of biological systems, including the human body.
To achieve this, the program emphasizes in-depth theoretical education, diverse hands-on training, and industry–academia cooperation programs in collaboration with major corporations. Students are able to study a broad spectrum of subjects ranging from the fundamentals of mechanical engineering to advanced biomedical technologies, with a strong focus on curricula in mechanical engineering, nanotechnology, mechanobiology, semiconductor-based biosensors, digital healthcare, and bio-semiconductor technologies..
