The use of certification result
The ultimate purpose of certification for trade education is to improve college education's quality by conducting self regulating inspections and valuations of trade education. And of course to get social recognition about obligations of university.
The university which gets excellent value compare to other universities may get direct or indirect supports and benefits from the government organizations, foundations, corporations or society. This will stimulate other universities to develop themselves. This is one of desirable effects of this certification system.
Further, if total amount of supports from the government or society increases since this certification, this is very advisable, and the Accreditation Board for Trade Education of Korea will make the best efforts to promote this system.
However, if there is commensurate supports from outside organizations and gaps of the educational environments get bigger, this is not the way this certification intended and it is not a desirable effect.
Therefore, the board will take proper actions to ask the relevant government administration to aid compensations for the elite universities and to give financial supports for the backward universities to break from falling behind.

Followings are the specific application measures of each major organizations.
Government
Results of the certification for trade related education can be used as a very important decision making references and standards when the government gives universities financial and administrative aids and decides whether to give autonomy makes decisions for the policies to give autonomy under its policy.
- Financial aids for universities: Subsidy (purpose designated or not designated), research expenses(services, aids), scholarships(college, graduate school), loan(domestic·foreign), budget, budget for an overseas posting(professors, students), support fund for scientific activities(academic journal publication, holding seminars etc) etc.
- Give autonomy to university: Increase or decrease the number of student(in general, in part), organize or abolish departments or colleges(graduate schools), Increase or decrease the personnel(national university), student selection process(date and time, examination, academic grades etc.) etc.
University
- Trade education certification system will provide basic references which is very useful for effective management and development of trade education in the global era.
- Establish long and short term promotion plans of trade related education, build up specialized and internationalized activities, design improvement and revolutional programs(education, research, administration, facilities, volunteers etc), budget formulation, set up plans for seizing the personnel, foreign student management, strengthen the abilities of professors, create bond of sympathy to develop trade related academic section, and motivate members.
The industrial world
- The industrial world can use the certification results for screening system for their employee recruitment, deciding a trustee of research service, selecting a scholarship beneficiary, consisting a group research team (laboratory, consortium).
- A public institution can use results of major certification, program certification, individual certification etc., to assign research expenses, scholarships, and subsidies.
- Teachers, school parents, or students can use results of this certification when choosing the science of commerce and trade as their student's, kids, or their own major.
