Department of Convergence of and Bioresource Sciences (Healing Specialist Program)
With the growing societal emphasis on proactive stress management, physical rehabilitation, and mental recovery, various healing therapies have become increasingly important for overall health and well-being. This trend has also fueled a widespread interest in garden culture, attracting the attention of urban residents.The Department of Convergence of and Bioresource Sciences is the only national university program specializing in healing studies, aiming to cultivate professionals who can lead future trends in this field. The department offers a specialized curriculum focusing on healing gardens, therapeutic agriculture, horticultural therapy, and animal-assisted therapy.
To enhance professional competence, the program also provides courses enabling students to acquire certifications such as Landscape Architecture Engineer, Floriculture Decoration Engineer, and Plant Protection Engineer.
Department Features
- Class Schedule: Weekdays (Mon–Wed) evenings and Saturdays
- Course Duration: 15 weeks, including 5 weeks of online lectures
