Department of Biological Education
The Department of Biology Education at Jeonbuk National University was established in 1972. The academic goal of this department is to produce highly qualified science educators and scientists who understand both science and education. The undergraduate curriculum consists of diverse courses of biology, biology education, and science regarding fundamental chemistry, physics, and earth science to help students develop their abilities and attitudes toward scientific thinking and inquiring about concepts in science education. Our graduates occupy a broad range of careers including science educators in secondary education, university, or medical school and scientists in research institutes.
