Jeonbuk National University College of Pharmacy selects 30 freshmen who will lead global health activities and creativity with the aim of fostering global leaders in the innovative biomedical industry and drug experts with a strong spirit of respect for life.
To this end, we will invite scholars from the pharmaceutical field as professors and select 50% of the quota as special admission for local talent(지역인재 특별전형). Our College of Pharmacy, opened in March 2020, is a local hub with well-established pharmaceutical infrastructure, and has a vision of a glocal pharmaceutical hub that aims for the health of mankind.
The pharmacist of the 21st century is being asked to play a leading role in the development of bio-new drugs as well as drug treatment with local people. Therefore, Jeonbuk National University College of Pharmacy aims to establish a track-by-track curriculum differentiated from the existing training curriculum for practitioners and clinical fields to provide pharmacist training required to the Fourth Industrial Revolution era.
In order to foster pharmacists in the bio pharmaceutical business, we have prepared theoretical courses related to the entire cycle of pharmaceutical development, as well as the latest knowledge of pharmaceuticals and industrial management courses.
In addition, we plan to operate a research-oriented clinical convergence training course along with drug-based clinical education to foster clinical and research pharmacists. Moreover, to enhance the publicity of pharmacy education, we intend to contribute to the promotion of community health by establishing a training course for local medical institutions.
We are looking forward to the first step of Jeonbuk National University's Pharmacology College, which was aspirated by local people. Please give a lot of attention and support to the JBNU Pharmacist College, which aims to educate the entire pharmacist with advanced bio-based knowledge, commercialization leader education, and a sense of mission for life.
