Department of Mechanical Design Engineering
The Mechanical Design Engineering major emphasizes the cultivation of professional engineers who will lead the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.Based on a solid foundation of diverse theories, hands-on practice, and industry–academia cooperation programs, students learn a wide range of subjects—from the fundamentals of mechanical engineering to advanced artificial intelligence technologies, including creative design, analysis, and optimized manufacturing techniques.
Through this curriculum, the program prepares engineers for future-oriented fields such as automotive and mobility systems, intelligent robotics, smart factories, eco-friendly energy, and the semiconductor industry.
