Introduction
In general, the Flight Dynamics and Control Lab. (FDCL) is involved in the research problems of dynamic and control of dynamical systems including but not limited to aircraft, spacecraft, missile, automobile, and wind turbine generator system, etc. The ASL has been regarded as the most competitive research lab. in the area of orbital mechanics and control issues such as orbit transfer and rendezvous, onboard orbit propagation, high fidelity orbit modeling. Control and guidance problems for the unmanned aerial vehicles were actively investigated by the ASL people. Realizing that the renewable energy is a viable solution to the current world-wide energy crisis, we are dedicating our research capability to the development of wind turbine generator systems.
