Main research theme of EML is to investigate pollutions originated from various chemical compounds threatening human and ecosystem. After on-site sampling, instrumental analyses are conducted for those field samples. Produced monitoring results allow EML to research analytical pollutant behavior, mathematical simulation, environmental risk assessment, pollution management planning, and contribution to policy making.
