Department of Polymer Nano Science and Technology is a hybrid department that intends to teach students at an undergraduate and graduate school with two-year and longer programs. With the reative wisdom to adapt to changing times, this education is based on the talents, tastes, and capabilities of students in various academic fields such as the humanities, social sciences, and crafts as well as technical knowledge of materials (IT, BT, NT) bio-technic engineering (BT), LCD (IT), and reclaimed new energy (ET), all related to high polymer science and nano-engineering.
(1) To produce capable people able to adapt to changes of times and spaces to meet global standards and blue ocean along with ability, patriotism, pragmatism, and culture.
(2) To produce people with distinct creative skills and fluent language abilities (Korean and foreign language)
(3) To create a hybrid department where its professors and students make a competitive combination to achieve their goals while working in different professional fields
(4) To emphasize a research-based department with a graduate school for 2-year and longer study programs
(5) To have people of ever culture and age, transcending time and space, studing and researching together, by exposing them to such varied study fields as natural science, engineering, the humanities, design, and the arts while observing Inbreeding Rules, and Rhee Modules.
