Since nursing education first began at our institution in 1942, the College of Nursing has upheld the core values of
education, research, and service for over 80 years. Throughout this time, we have played a pivotal role in advancing
healthcare in Korea. Built upon decades of academic excellence and pioneering research, we offer a comprehensive
educational system—encompassing undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs—firmly establishing ourselves as a premier flagship national nursing institution.

Today, we are navigating rapid societal transformations driven by the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital innovation,
population aging, and global environmental shifts. In this evolving landscape, the professionalism and social responsibility of nurses are more critical than ever. In response, our College is dedicated to fostering nursing leaders who possess
rigorous scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and a profound respect for human dignity.

Our mission is to cultivate “Glocal” nursing leaders—professionals who are deeply rooted in their local communities while
engaging actively on the global stage. Through dynamic collaborations with distinguished international universities and
institutions, we provide our students with the global competence and ethical framework necessary to lead in an interconnected world.

In the realm of research, we are pushing the boundaries of nursing science through AI-driven and data-based interdisciplinary
initiatives. Our Comprehensive Nursing Simulation Center serves as a cornerstone of our practice-oriented education, offering
students an optimal learning environment while strengthening the healthcare capacity of our region through strategic
partnerships.
