The Research Institute of Nursing Science has established the following goals to promote public health. The academic field of nursing must develop nursing theory and health policies and expand the academic field of nursing by conducting fundamental and clinical studies, conducting industry-university projects, and educating the nursing workforce.

Research problems are discovered and access to research funds is strengthened through regular academic conferences and seminars related to health promotion, cancer prevention and management, elderly nursing, hospice nursing, chronic disease management, research methodology, research fund winning strategies, etc.
Operation of education and training courses for professionals
The Institute of Nursing and Science intends to develop theories on health promotion for the people and fulfill its duties as an institution that serves the community through education on health promotion practices for professional nurses, clinical nurses, and health and medical personnel.
Publishing a collection of research papers
Through the regular publication of the research institute's thesis collection, it encourages professors, graduate students, and alumni of JBNU to publish research and promote academic papers to the academic foundation.
Publishing a research institute newsletter
The institute's activities are being promoted by informing the academic research department's projects (including academic competitions, academic seminars, research funds, etc.) and the education and training department's projects to the outside.
Supporting the presentation of papers in domestic and foreign prestigious journals
We strive to strengthen and revitalize research capabilities by supporting research papers related to health promotion, cancer prevention and management, elderly nursing and hospice nursing in renowned domestic and foreign journals.
