Research Institute of Nursing Science at the Center of Nursing Development and Research Activities
The Research Institute of Nursing Science, established in 2002, is the center for nursing development and
research activities in Jeonbuk. It provides practical nursing training and continuing academic activities at
health and medical sites.
Advanced medical technology and lifestyle changes have led to major patterns of death and disease in
Korea, making chronic diseases, including cancer, an important national management target within the
healthcare system. Both academically and socially, it is essential to develop and apply various methods of health promotion to address the problem of chronic disease and improve people’s quality of life.
The Research Institute of Nursing Science recognizes these social changes and develops nursing theory through various academic and research
activities, while conducting volunteer work for local residents, educating students, and conducting research on healthcare, cancer, and hospice practices.
In the future, we will continue to develop practical nursing interventions, while creating the knowledge
required by the health and medical community.
Thank you.
