Fiber wet process is
1. Wet spinning to manufacture fiber by using polymer solution
2. A wet-laid nonwoven manufacturing process by using fiber materials to which paper-making technology is applied.
3. Dying fiber materials
4. Putting functionality into finishing, coating and converting technology such as laminating.
5. Meaning a high molecule manufacturing process by using water and a solvent.
In our wet-spinning lab, we are in the process of conducting research about a wet-spinning technology using a variety of high performance materials which are impossible to process by using melt-spinning, wet-nonwoven technology grafted by traditionalhanji processing technology and functionality processing of fiber materials.
Research in the process of being conducted in our lab is as follows:
1. Kitosan biomedical application and fiber
2. Organic/inorganic hybrid fiber
3. Industrial PVA fiber manufacturing process
4. High performance fiber and carbon fiber process technology
5. Antibacterial performance fiber materials for secondary infection prevention
6. Virus and microorganism block materials
7. Heavy metal absorption remover
