Scholarship system

Type		Eligible recipients and standards
School	Tuition reduction scholarship	Recipients are selected from among full-time students (students not covered by employment insurance) through recommendations by research advisors (Total tuition fee or a half of the total). Students with high grades receive a tuition reduction, equivalent to a tuition of one class (about KRW 400,000-500,000). Recipients are selected by the department. Distinguished students in economic difficulty grades receive a tuition reduction, equivalent to a tuition of one class (about KRW 400,000-500,000). Recipients are selected by the department. Students entering the Graduate School after graduating from the university receive a tuition reduction, equivalent to a tuition of one class (about KRW 400,000-500,000). To receive the scholarship, students should submit an application to the department office.
	Scholarship for teaching/research assistants	Graduate students with high grades can serve as teaching/research assistants during a specified period and receive a monthly scholarship of KRW 200,000.
Graduate student support scholarship Korea Student Aid Foundation		Graduate students who are unemployed or from low-income families are selected from among those who have the nationality of the Republic of Korea and are enrolled at Korean general graduate schools (including the Graduate School of Korean Studies) in the fields of humanities/social sciences or arts/physical education. Scholarship amount: Within the amount of the tuition fee (Maximum KRW 4,000,000 per semester)
