- Receipt of a graduate thesis plan

Eligibility to submit a graduate thesis plan
A student who has completed at least 2 semesters in the program
Period for submission of a graduate thesis plan
- Master’s program
At least 6 months before the scheduled thesis evaluation day (in May or November each year) - Doctoral program
At least 1 year before the scheduled thesis evaluation day (in March or September each year) - Number of copies to be submitted
3 Copies (The student, the research advisor and the head professor of the department should keep 1 copy each.)
Period for changing a graduate thesis plan
- Master’s program
At least 3 months before the scheduled thesis evaluation day, after submitting a graduate thesis plan - Doctoral program
At least 6 months before the scheduled thesis evaluation day, after submitting a graduate thesis plan
To whom to submit a graduate thesis plan
- Master’s program
The student shall prepare a graduate thesis plan in consultation with his/her research advisor and submit it to the head professor of the department. - Doctoral program
The student shall prepare a graduate thesis plan in consultation with his/her doctoral guidance committee (1 research advisor and 2 guidance committee members) and submit it to the head professor of the department. - Notes
Matters regarding graduate thesis plan management shall be managed in accordance with the guide under the responsibility of the head professor of a department. If the dean considers it necessary and asks a head professor to submit any part or all of a graduate thesis plan, the head professor should immediately submit it to the dean.

The head professor of a department should ensure flawless management in accordance with the graduate thesis plan management guide, which prescribes matters such as the recognition of submission for a student who did not submit a graduate thesis plan, and the recognition or retroactive recognition of the change of a graduate thesis plan for a student who did not submit an application for the change. The head professor is required to keep the form below in the department office and have it copied and distributed to students.
