General Absence
- In case of students who cannot attend less than a quarter of the number of school days (But, first graders cannot leave of absence except for their military service - This is the school policy)
- Students can take total 6 semester leaves of absence during the period of enrollment
- Documents for submission : Fill out an application for a leave of absence at OASIS and print it out → Submit it at one's department office
- Duration is less than 2 semesters for each leave of absence, so please ask details at one's department office
- If a student who attended more than three-fourths of the number of school days, he/she cannot apply for a leave of absence.
Credits
- Double major : More than 42 credits including mandatory subjects (Study of Commercial Transaction, Theory of International Trade 2, Study of International Commerce Policy). 36 credits for classes up to 03.
- Minor : More than 21 credits including mandatory subjects(Study of Commercial Transaction, Science of International Management, Theory of International Trade 2)
Absence for Military Enlistment
- Temporary absence owing to military service
- Documents for submission : An application of a leave of absence, a copy of notice of enlistment
- Duration is up to 3 semesters including the semester discharging from the service.
- The number of school days does not matter in this leave of absence. But, if a student who attended more than three-fourths of the number of school days, the student needs to take final exams in advance, and his/her grades are calculated in that year.
Returning
- Student must return to school within a quarter of the designated period after the duration or grounds for a leave of absence.
- Documents : A returning application, a copy of notice of enlistment (In case of returning from military enlistment)
- If a student doesn't return within a quarter of the designated period, the one will be expelled.
- If a student who left school for military enlistment more than 3 semesters, the one will be expelled.
