The School of Dentistry comprises the main building, building #2 (YangYiJae) and Jeonbuk National University Dental Hospital (JBNUDH). In 1979, pre-dental courses were offered for the first time, and two years later, the School of Dentistry was officially established in 1981. Since then the School of Dentistry faculty have endeavored hard to equip the school with up-to-date modern facilities and our efforts have come into fruition with the opening of the Professional Graduate School of Dentistry in 2005. The buildings include lecture rooms, seminar rooms, classrooms (each year group having their own), 15 PBL rooms, high-tech pre-clinical laboratories, and laboratories for each year group as well as a communal lab. The main building has its own library as well as an e-learning room equipped with high-quality computers to maximize educational support for our students. In addition, there is a student association room, a female-only rest room, a lounge, a fitness area, plus a beautiful, spacious garden available to provide space for students to enjoy leisure activities and relaxation. The Dental Hospital offers a dental clinic and seminar rooms whereby student doctors have the opportunity to experiment and carry out their practices. There is also a rest room available for students.
