Oral Anatomy and Craniofacial Biology
Jeonbuk National University School of Dentistry's Major and Department
Anatomy is the study of the characteristics and structures of cells, tissues and organs in the human body. It is essential to study the relationship between the structure and function of the components of the human body for better understanding of basic and clinical dental sciences. Oral histology is the microscopic and developmental anatomy of the normal cells, tissues, and organs of the oral cavity with stress on teeth and related tissues. Emphasis is given to the growth and development of the craniofacial structure including teeth.
