Undergraduate Admissions
Chonbuk National University extends a warm welcome to international candidates for undergraduate program. International candidates include both foreign applicants and Korean students who have received entire education (from elementary to high school) abroad. All undergraduate programs provided by our 12 colleges are open to you. You will be joining over 700 international students already enjoying an excellent education and campus life at our university. The university offers various ways to ways to finance education to overseas students. Most international students are partially or fully exempt from tuition fees through university scholarships, merit-based performance scholarships and work-study programs.
Graduate Admissions
Chonbuk National University extends a warm welcome to international students seeking to attend a master’s or doctoral program. As a premier research institution in Korea, graduate programs are gaining increasing importance. International candidates include both foreign applicants and Korean students who have received entire education (from elementary to high school) abroad. All 79 graduate majors and 57 cooperative programs, not to mention our 3 professional graduate schools, are open to you. In addition to joining 500 international students who are already enjoying an excellent education and vibrant campus life at our university, you will be a part of a remarkable educational institution with close to 1,000 of the best faculty in the nation and a fast growing number of foreign faculties. Scholarships are available for graduate students through the university, private corporations and Korean government.
