About the Department of Bioenvironmental Chemistry The Department of Bioenvironmental Chemistry provides educating and training to students who are interested in improving the productivity of agriculture and protecting and managing our natural resources in agricultural and environmental systems.
The department program focuses on the study of applied science that deals with life phenomena, biological substance and environment from the view of chemistry.
The department is also a unit of the graduate school;
thus students can take bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees. Undergraduate and graduate students can take outstanding courses in various disciplines such as soil science, pesticide science, applied biochemistry, microbiology, plant nutrition, environmental science in agriculture, and other relevant studies.
Graduates can obtain the certified qualification awarded nationally, including certificates of agricultural chemistry engineer, food process manufacture engineer, quality control engineer and/or environment engineer.
