In the midst of worldwide materials revolution, the Major of Electronic Materials Engineering plays a major role as a gateway by conducting frontier research. We do research and develop advanced materials and devices that support cutting-edge technologies for various industrial fields including - automotive, electronics, energy, and telecommunications. We also provide a well-rounded education in materials science and engineering to meet the needs of industry as well as academia. Today our department has 7 faculty members, many graduate students, and about 160 undergraduate students. All faculty and students collaborate extensively in research and education with open mind.

Electronic materials engineering in a wide variety of disciplines to explore the broad area is one of promising core fields for the country's industrial development. The Major of Electronic Materials Engineering will plays a key role as an advanced base to do cutting-edge research and provide excellent human resources to future industrial society.
