The University has a dormitory complex called Hongwa Haksa, Red Roof Student Residence Hall. The dormitories are available to university students who are from outside Jeonju City. The complex consists of six residence halls, and two service buildings. The residence buildings include Changjo(Creation, #1) hall, Chongui(Justice, #2) Hall, Chinli(Truth, #3) Hall, Pyonghwa(Peace, #4) hall, Daedong(Harmony, #5) Hall and Yuyon Hall. The first two halls and Daedong Hall are for men. Chinli Hall and Pyonghwa Hall are for women. Yuyon Hall accommodates only those students who prepare for the advanced civil service career examinations for judicial and government offices. In 2002, the heating facilities of buildings #1, #2, and #3 were renovated so that all residence halls could be very warm and cozy during the winter. About 1,400 students are housed in the six halls. There are also a student activity center and a dining hall. Students can enjoy various activities in the center, which houses sports facilities for table tennis, billiards, exercise machines and sports equipment. A small library, a video and music room and a convenience store are also located in the center. Dormitory students are allowed to use all facilities in the center.
