Dept. of Information Technology

Department of Information Technology aims to promote highly qualified and skilled industrial engineers in the field of IT convergence so that mankind can lead more pleasant, more convenient, and better life. Graduates of IT engineering work in diverse industries and conduct research in a broad range of areas. They improve the performance and stability of computers and communications networks, and they increase the efficiency of IT systems. Our community members continually make breakthroughs that enable people to communicate more easily, manage their environments more effectively, and lead more comfortable lives than ever before.

The curriculum covers all topics related to design and implementation of computer systems including hardware and software. We follows the KEC2010 (Korea Engineering Certification 2010) for the objective evaluation of engineering education quality. It provides knowledge of theory and key concepts and programming skills for diverse environment through class projects, group seminars, and the internship program with industrial companies.
Moreover, our department is currently funded by 'The Seoul Accord (the accreditation of engineering education for computer and information technology) Activation Project', which is the IT education innovation project MKE, until 2016. Through this program, our students can get unparalleled financial and educational opportunities.
